Editorial comes first
The guides, source links and review decisions are made for renters, not for a commercial partner. Payment cannot buy a legal conclusion, a favourable correction decision or a higher editorial ranking.
Commercial transparency
QLD Renters is building a trusted Queensland renter resource. This page explains what is—and is not—commercially active today, and the safeguards that must be in place before advertising or partnerships are introduced.
This GoDaddy release contains no Google ad code, analytics, affiliate links, newsletter tracking or ads.txt file. The page explains the standards that must be met before any commercial service is switched on.
Last reviewed: 13 September 2026These principles are published before monetisation so readers, partners and future community members can see the boundary. They complement the editorial method, source register, privacy notice, terms of use and community guidelines.
The guides, source links and review decisions are made for renters, not for a commercial partner. Payment cannot buy a legal conclusion, a favourable correction decision or a higher editorial ranking.
A future sponsorship, affiliate relationship or paid placement will be labelled close to the relevant content or link. Readers should be able to understand the relationship before they act.
QLD Renters will not sell a guaranteed tenancy result, tribunal outcome, repair outcome or personal legal service. Commercial partners cannot present themselves as the RTA, QCAT, QSTARS or a government service.
Advertising, analytics, newsletter or account services will not be activated until the provider, data use, retention, visitor choices and any required consent experience are documented in the privacy notice.
If member content is introduced, pending, reported, disputed, low-value, login, registration and moderation screens will stay outside Google-served advertising until access controls, reporting and ad suppression are working.
Links to the RTA, Queensland legislation, QCAT and renter-advice services are provided for sourcing or help. They are not paid endorsements, and a future partner will never replace the official pathway.
Enabling a provider is a new service, not a minor design change. Before launch, the project will complete and document the following controls:
Sponsored placement
Sponsored: this placement was paid for by the named partner. QLD Renters keeps control of its independent editorial guides.
Affiliate link
Affiliate link: QLD Renters may receive a commission if you choose this service. The relationship does not change the guide's explanation or the price shown by the provider.
Official source
Official source: this link goes to a Queensland government, RTA or QCAT service for the authoritative process or current form.
The public forum is not active in this release. If member content is introduced later, safety and moderation come before monetisation: reported or disputed material must have a suppression path, and empty or low-value screens must not be treated as advertising inventory. Read the forum foundation for the planned categories and launch gate.
Before advertising, analytics, a newsletter or accounts go live, the privacy page will name the actual provider, purpose, identifiers, retention period and available choices. Where consent is required, a usable consent experience will be tested before the service is enabled.
For a factual correction, accessibility concern or question about a future commercial relationship, use the contact page. Do not send identity documents or a complete tenancy file.
